This event held in the Linus Pauling Science Center was a collaboration between not only the Oregon and Portland Local Sections, but regional industrial leaders, including Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute (OMNI), BrewLab, and Valliscor. This one-day event promoted science entrepreneurship for local chemists, engineers and graduate students to learn about the systematic process in starting a business. The event also included demonstrations about intellectual property, funding, employment law and a luncheon, for a mid-day break.
